I still need to get the hang of taking pictures as I go along! I was thinking about that when I started the first pair of socks, and again as I worked on the second. But I waited so long to even get started on them, that by the time I remembered to work on them, I didn’t want to stop and set up a picture. Maybe that’s what I need, a nice place with a back drop set up that I can quickly place something for a picture. But, that’s not the point of this post!
It’s Father’s Day and my Dad really likes to wear homemade socks around the house. He wears them so much that he puts holes in the heels. And I have to say, I really, really do not like to darn socks! That being said, I’ve told both of my parents any time they want socks I am happy to make them. So, I think about once a year at various holidays (Father’s Day, Mother’s Day, Christmas), just when they’ve worn through some socks they ask for another pair for a gift. This year I made two pairs for my Dad. And I’m glad to do it 🙂
Now, back to my shawl. . .
