New Year!

January 2, 2015

It’s been a while, yet again, since I’ve posted. The last two months have had a lot of birthday, anniversaries (my 30th), as well as the holidays. There was a lot of fun had, a lot of reading, running kept up, but not too many crafts. To get me back on my blogging path, here are a few pictures highlights from the last two months!

My Granddaughter’s third birthday party (with her Dad).

My granddaughter celebrated her third birthday in November. She’s such a pleasure to be around and said thank you to everyone as she opened her gifts! 🙂

My youngest daughter and her boyfriend!

We spent some time in Covina in November and December house/dog sitting for my parents. A few of those times we went to dinner with my youngest daughter and her boyfriend.

Another beer and painting class!

This is my daughter’s painting from our beer and painting class in December. We sure have fun at those events, but we now have six paintings at our house that we don’t know what to do with!

Anniversary gift (“relaxed” was our theme this year).

In December my husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary. We do themed gifts now for each other (and limit the cost). This was my gift from my husband, along with a pumpkin spice candle. Not only are the little shot glasses really cute, but the moonshine was tasty as well.

Yarn bombing in Portland!

Japanese Garden in Oregon

More from the Japanese Garden.

My husband and I went to Portland for our anniversary. We had a great time, and visited a beautiful Japanese Garden. But boy was it cold and we walked three miles to get there. We took the bus back to our hotel!

2014 Christmas Tree

My granddaughter helped us decorate our Christmas tree. Notice the area at the bottom where she could reach! 🙂

I would post pictures of Christmas, but it seems I mostly took videos. Needless to say, we had a wonderful Christmas.

My husband at Slater’s 50/50

Since I usually get the blues right after Christmas, my husband likes for us to do something fun. This year we went to a few new breweries in Upland and Rancho Cucamonga. Then we ended up at Slater’s 50/50. After eating the Vampire Dip, I couldn’t even eat my dinner. But we had a great day!

That’s the last couple of months in pictures. I think 2015 is going to be another really good year!
